Established in 2015, ‘3D Research Group’ is a small research group / collaborative business made up of freelancers, professionals in the 3D industry and volunteers who are looking to gain experience and training in the 3D world.
We have recently provided research data to the scientific community by capturing high-fidelity facial data that was then used by anthropologists, the scientists who study the origins of cultural development of humans. They made use of this data to help generate craniofacial reconstructions of what prehistoric people looked like.
We specialise in the collection of data for non-commercial projects.
